We regret to inform anyone who thought about coming out to see us in Portugal, that shows have been cancelled by the promoter today. The Promoter from RDA MANAGEMENT has proven to be unprofessional, full of lies and caused the bands agent too many difficulties to continue a collaboration – therefore we warn anyone about crossing paths with RDA MANAGEMENT!

At the end of the day, we have done everything possible to resolve the situation. Good news is that MNEMIC will be in Portugal NO MATHER WHAT! The new venues are as follows:

19.07.2012 – Moita @ In Live Caffe – PORTUGAL
20.07.2012 – Porto @ Metalpoint – PORTUGAL

MNEMIC’s NEW ALBUM DEBUTS ON BILLBOARD CHART!

Mnemesis, the fifth studio album by Danish modern metallers MNEMIC, has debuted at #39 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart with first-week sales in excess of 700 units. Besting Sons Of The System’s Billboard Heatseekers #64 debut in 2010, guitarist/songwriter Mircea Gabriel Eftemie took a break from conducting his radio interviews to share the following reaction:

“Good news for the MNEMIC campfire machine: we climbed the charts by 25 positions since the last album! A big thumbs up and thanks to everyone at Nuclear Blast USA who have been promoting the album like there is no tomorrow. Most importantly, to everyone that bought a copy of the new album, we highly appreciate the support and are eternally thankful towards all of you out there! Actually, we are throwing out eternal thank-yous-thumbs-ups-cheerios and ‘skål for helvede og mojn i øjn’ to everyone involved! That means ‘Cheers Goddamnit and see you!’ in Danish. See you very soon on tour both in Europe and the U.S.!”

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM MNEMIC’s BASSIST, SIMONE BERTOZZI:
“Hey y’all!
I have to regretfully inform you people of the interwebz that I had some last-minute kidney issues. I’m feeling well already but unfortunately I’m forced to miss the first 3 gigs of the tour in order to take the necessary medical tests and treatment measures.
No panic though ’cause longtime friend Bo Lund (also known as THE HAUNTEDs sound engineer) will provide the proper low-end dose on the first gig in Lyngby (DK), and the guys will increase their headbanging for the Czech Republic gigs to fill my empty spot.
I will get back on the road with my fellas starting from Sunday 6th in Ferrara, Italy.
Get ready for this lethal Electric March Over Europe tour! Boomshakalakalaka!

MNEMIC First Video Update From Studio Posted Online – Feb. 08, 2012

Danish modern metallers MNEMIC have entered the Antfarm studios in Aabyhøj, Denmark with longtime producer Tue Madsen (BEHEMOTH, THE HAUNTED, SICK OF IT ALL) to record their 5th yet untitled new album.

The band issues the following update:

One week ago we entered the Antfarm Studios, right before the black metal winter kicked-in, here in Scandinavia. It’s an awesome and great feeling being back with our friend, uncle, buddy and long time producer Tue Madsen, working together on a new Mnemic album. More the fact that we all are gathered in the same house (with dogs, girlfriends and homies we haven’t seen in a while) it makes it all like one big happy family.

We’ll try to keep you all updated as much as we can, with some video footage from our workspace. So far we’ve tracked the drums, we are on to the guitars at the moment, later on the bass, samples and you know the rest…Furthermore we have some working titles for some of the songs you can check out right here:

NEW ALBUM IN 2012, MORE INFO!

With the release of last years SONS OF THE SYSTEM, Danish modern metallers MNEMIC, have undergone quite a few changes. Keeping quiet, doing only select shows in 2010, the band never toured properly, and never discovered the demand for their style and music. Today, the band is praised and being recognized as part of the DJENT music scene, a genre created by the polyrhythmic pioneers of metal, Meshuggah.

After turbulent period and a new line-up, the band is infused with a new set of energy and inspiration, in order to release a new album and ride the road again!

The band will enter the ANTFARM STUDIOS in February 2012 with longtime producer and good friend Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, BEHEMOTH, ROB HALFORD, SICK OF IT ALL) to record their new and yet-untitled album. The release is set for June 2012, through NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS (http://www.nuclearblast.de/en/).
